Noggins

Noggins are typically held on the second Friday of every month, starting at 19h00 onwards.
Noggin - meaning of the word - ‘human head”
The context we use the word is as a “meeting of the heads”, which implies that we meet to talk about BMW biking related topics.
The meeting is informal - just show up and join the crowd.
Important: The venue and date may change = please check for the correct ones.
The Venue typically is The Morningside Country Club in De la Rey Rd, Rivonia, however the various dealerships are also used occasionally.
The venue offers:
- safe parking,
- a private function area with stoep
- simple meals for good prices
- and a bar area shared with the Country Club members.
From N1:
1. Take Rivonia Road and drive south (towards Rivonia)
2. Turn right onto 7th Ave after 2.4 km
3. Turn left onto De la Rey Rd after 41 m
4. Drive to the end of De la Rey and through the boom after 211 m
5. Arrive at Morningside Country Club.
From M1 Grayston Drive
1. Get on Grayston Dr and drive northwest
2. Turn right onto Rivonia Rd after 2.1 km
3. Follow Rivonia Rd for 4.5 km
4. Turn Left into 7th Ave and drive west.
5. Turn left onto De la Rey Rd after 41 m
6. Drive to the end of De la Rey and through the boom after 211 m
7. Arrive at Morningside Country Club.

Refreshments and meals at a nominal price are arranged, and while this takes place, that is the eating and drinking - announcements are made, discussing previous rides, forthcoming events, club matters and welcoming of new members.
Various activities are arranged, i.e.
· Raffles to raise money towards the purchase of a Guide Dog for wine hampers, cleaning products, holiday prizes, BMW clothing, etc. These are typically donated by Club members, BMW Lifestyle and dealers.
· Clothing is sold at the Noggin evenings too.
· Various demonstrations of new products are arranged, such as new motorcycle models, clothing.
· Experts are invited to share their technical knowledge. Then, of course, there is the friendship side to this, and the togetherness with friends, sharing, caring, giving tips, discussing the up and coming events, making more plans to ride together, chatting and generally, having a good time.
